What does Apapa full-container clearance to door include?
When a full container (FCL) reaches Apapa port in Lagos, our own team in Lagos handles Form M, PAAR and import clearance, then delivers to your door after release. From pickup in China to signed delivery usually takes 45-60 days, of which the sea voyage to Lagos is about 30-38 days. When Apapa is heavily congested, the container can be routed to Tin Can port instead.

We need the product name, quantity, gross weight and volume, origin and receiving city. We first check whether SONCAP or NAFDAC is needed, so missing documents don't surface after arrival.
Booking and loading
We recommend a container type from volume and weight, book once the sailing is confirmed, and arrange loading and export clearance. Goods can go to any of our warehouses in Qingdao, Lianyungang, Shenzhen, Guangzhou or Yiwu.
Sailing and tracking
After sailing you get a copy of the bill of lading and the estimated arrival date, with updates during transit.
Clearance at Apapa
Our own Lagos team handles Form M, PAAR and import clearance, supports inspection, and tells you when the container is released.
Delivery to your door
After release, a truck delivers to the receiving address and the signed proof of delivery is sent back and filed. Lagos traffic can affect the exact delivery time.

Which is faster, Apapa or Tin Can?
Both are Lagos's main container ports. Speed depends on current congestion, shipping line calls and inspections, so neither is always faster. We choose based on conditions at booking, and when one side is badly congested we can route to the other.
Can I use this if I'm not in Lagos?
Yes. Goods going to Kano or Port Harcourt can clear at the nearest port instead of travelling the long way from Lagos; the clearance port is confirmed before booking.
Is there a discount for several containers?
Yes. FCL customers get $200 off a single shipment of 3 containers, and destination THC is waived on a single shipment of 2 containers.
