Import requirements in Morocco
Rules change. We check each product by name and HS code before shipping.
- Item 01
Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for industrial products
Industrial products on the Ministry of Industry and Trade's controlled list need a Certificate of Conformity, applied for through PortNet before import. The application usually needs a proforma invoice, packing list, technical documents and proof of conformity such as test reports or certificates.
- Item 02
ONSSA inspection of food and agricultural products
Imports of food, agricultural products and animal and plant products are inspected by Morocco's National Food Safety Office (ONSSA), with documents also submitted through PortNet.
- Item 03
PortNet and BADR declaration
PortNet is Morocco's trade single window; the import declaration is filed in the customs (ADII) BADR system, and CoC and inspection results are exchanged automatically between the two. The importer must hold a Common Company Identifier (ICE).
