How do I ship electric vehicles from China to Nigeria?

Electric vehicles go in a full container, door to door with clearance and duties included. The batteries need UN38.3 and MSDS, large volumes can go in a battery container, and SONCAP is arranged before shipping.

    Battery documents missing

    Without UN38.3 and MSDS for the batteries, space can't be booked as goods containing batteries. Get them from the factory before shipping.

    Complete units take up space

    Complete units load few per container. CKD kits fit many more, but need assembly after arrival.

    Fuel not drained

    A petrol motorcycle loaded with fuel counts as dangerous goods and may be refused or fined.

    If an electric vehicle's lithium battery is not declared, the whole container is affected when inspected.

  2. Sign the service agreement

    We agree price, delivery time, responsibilities and compensation, then sign. Any certificates start here.

  3. Warehouse receipt and palletising

    Our five warehouses receive your goods. We count, photograph, weigh and palletise them. Goods for one container are combined in one warehouse.

  4. Export customs and departure

    We file the export declaration, book space and load. After departure you get the bill of lading and arrival date.

  5. Import clearance and duties

    Our Lagos team clears the goods and pays duty and VAT, with updates until release. No need to chase a customs agent.

  6. Delivery and proof of delivery

    Our trucks deliver to your address and the signed proof of delivery is filed. Track every step in your service chat.

Can an electric vehicle's battery travel with the vehicle?

It depends on the battery type and quantity. Send the UN38.3 and MSDS and we work out whether they can share the container and which channel to use.
